It all started in Pampa, Texas. Ed Kerkvliet was stationed at Pampa Army Air Field. Many letters were exchanged while Ed was in the South Pacific during WWII. Below is a Christmas scene of the living room of the farm house located near Fairchild, Wisconsin. This farm was home for 48 years. After 54 years of marriage, the farm house is a very lonely place after Ed's passing. Steve and Jim helped me look for a new place to live which hopefully will help to adjusting to life on this earth without Ed.
Web Site Update - This web site was first created for Blanche after Ed's death on December 24, 2000. Blanche died on November 5, 2009. The site will continue to be updated in memory of Ed and Blanche and the experiences of growing up on "The Farm".
